v1, Jesus makes this plea, silently, from the cross on behalf of the redeemed. Psa 75:8, For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs.

1 Thess 5:9, For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

v5, Psa 115:17, The dead do not praise the LORD, nor do any who go down into silence.
