It is the desire of the leadership of Calvary Baptist Church in Ninilchik, Alaska to clearly define marriage, the role of civil government and the church in the institution of marriage, and the link between the gospel of Jesus Christ and biblical marriage. Having adopted a "Statement in Defense of Biblical Marriage and Policies Thereof," we have agreed to have this statement read from the pulpit every two years in the summer months when our "snowbirds" have returned to worship with our year-round residents.
